resonator box removal
I know its a bit off topic but I have an e93 with a bmw performance rear box, has a lovely tone but is a bit quiet, my local exhaust man says removing the resonator box wont make any difference, does anyone know otherwise

This should be posted in the naturally aspirated engines section.
I have no Idea what you mean by 'rear box'. If you mean a muffler delete it really defeats the purpose of having the performance exhaust but will make it very loud. If you have just the PE muffler then deleting the resonator in the mid pipe will probably make it louder. If you mean the resonator in the intake it will probably make it more audible. There is a thread on this in the NA engines forum, search for it, it will answer your questions if this is for intake
