My 335d Journey
Had problems the first time, came here to get advice (great community) and returned to the shop today. One hour, a little plastic cutting, and my FMIC is now installed.
It really ended up being a VERY easy install once you get 3/4" of plastic out of the way! Thanks again to everybody for the help/encouragement. Next stop, Renntech!

Differences
I "feel" like the car is maybe a bit more crisp in acceleration...nit really quicker, hard to describe. Yes, 335d specific that says drop in. From going through the process, I actually think if you removed the entire nose, it would go in without cutting. The lip I cut off looks like it would have fit under the IC, but rotating the IC up into position just wasn't happening without.
I have not measured on a specific closed course, but the onboard computer shows a bit of LOSS in fuel economy, could be the lead foot though ![]()
