Help With Drivers and Inpa

I am using Windows XP and I tried to get everything setup but I having issues. When connecting to the cable to my laptop I get a black dot for battery but no black dot for ignition. I believe it might be the drivers. I installed these: http://osefactory.com/tools/k+dcan/USB_Driver.rar but am still having issues. Any suggestions?

Make sure the cable is COM1 in windows. Try turning the car on first, then plug the cable into your computer (this is assuming the obdii port is already plugged in).

Yes they are set to that. I tried it again but got the same results. Ignition does not black out.
