New Rev3 user question
called and called and called Vishnu...
I just got my Rev 3 (upgraded from 2) and the flex fuel ECU flash. About to put the ECU and PROcede in the car and go for a drive Where are the new maps, firmware, etc. The last post I can find on Vishnu's site is dated June of 2010????? Pretty sure I am gonna need newer than that. I have added FMIC and DPs to the car and remember that at one point you had to load the maps based on mods done to the car. PLEASE help clarify Thanks guy

If you call many times we are on the phone or out testing. Please feel free to leave and message and we will get back to you.
The new "NEW" maps and firmware will be release on July 4th by Shiv. If you want our lastest firmware and maps to what we have available to the public right now its located here: http://www.procedetuning.com/BMW/n54...downloads.html *Base on the mods you have you will be running a stage2 maps. If you want us to dial your car in remotely. Perform a couple datalogs going from 3rd to 4th gear WOT pulls and send those datalogs to sales@vishnutuning.com for evaluation. Base on your results we may have you make some adjustment to gain more power and/or better driveability. Robert@Vishnu |

Did you download the drivers http://procedetuning.com/BMW/n54/dow...downloads.html
directions from the read me file: o install these drivers, follow these steps: 1) Turn off WIFI. If your computer has access to the internet, Windows will automatically try to update to the newest version (v6.x) of this driver which will not work with the Procede. The Procede requires version 4.40.1.0 which is what this installer will install. 2) Double-click on "Preinstaller" .exe. Nothing will appear to happen. This is okay. 3) Connect the Procede to you Laptop via USB cable. Turn ignition fully ON. Windows will give you an alert and start to update to the necessary driver. 4) Go to device manager->Ports (COM&LPT). You should the necessary driver (2P210x USB to UART Bridge Controller). It will be assigned to a Port. Make sure this port # is between 1 and 9. If it's greater, reassign it to a lower port. 5) Double-click on the driver to see driver properties. Go to "Driver" tab and confirm that the driver version is 4.40.1.0. If it's 6.x, you will need to remove the driver and start again. The Procede will only work with the 4.40.1.0 version of the driver. 6) Open up the users software. Click on the COMMS menu. Go to COMMS SETUP and select the appropriate COMM # found in Step 4. 7) Now you should be able to communicate with the Procede. Just go COMMS-> Go Online/Offline to establish/end communication. |
