Thank you Dragon88 that was very helpful, cheers.

Can I just ask you how long does it last before having to do it again?

Heard of something like this before but didn't think it would be so effective, cracking find Dragon88. Now as a bloke all I need to understand is how do you operate an iron and put up an ironing board

Gaz I done mine slightly differently to the video. I used hair straighteners with no starch and 'ironed' a slight fold in the belt.

Done it last August and hasn't slipped once since then.

yup that actually seems to be the recommended fix unless there's a functional problem with the arm... I've also found that mine will drop the belt if it isn't all the way back on the little rail near the floor and/or can't slide freely, so if you carry anything on the rear floorboard make sure it doesn't slide up against that rail and keep the belt from moving back and forth freely.

Hi N8N,

I noticed that as well, where the belt is at the back of the rail BUT if it is at the front of the rail it can pick up sometime more than it has been, but you would have to make sure before you get in to move it forward, I am going to try and iron it, thanks for your info;-)
