DIY.

$6 and the easiest thing you can do. Get plastidip if you don't trust yourself.

edit - Unless you're doing some sort of conversion..

I hate plastidip although I do think it's a great product. Little worried about evenness in the slats? or does the grill come apart in two pieces like the pre lci e90s did?

I can't imagine they're 2 pieces. If you do 3-4 light coats you'll do just fine. I prefer acrylic paint to plastidip.

I plastidipped mine and had no problems with uneven coats. I actually went a little heavy in some spots by accident and thought I'd have to start all over but after it dried it was smooth and even.

I would DIY. I did mine and sprayed like 7 coats of paint and clear just cause I was not sure 4 coats would be enough. It's alot cheaper than buying a new matte black grill for 50 bucks. Worth a shot man.

When did you get an e92 LCI?!

Hey, I have e92 OEM 335is black grills for sale if you want those. They've been sitting in my garage forever and I forgot about them. Need black 335is grills bud?

7 coats? Holly balls. Makes me and my 2 coats (on the e30) feel cheap and unworthy.
