Window Trim Oxidation

As others have posted, I have the milky water stained aluminum window trim and would like to get rid of it. It seems that the best product out there is the Bavauto Aluminum Trim Deoxidizer. Has anyone tried it?

Looking around, it seems that another product that might work is the classic trim aluminum trim deoxidizer (http://classictrimcoat.com/). Anyone try this product?

I don't know much about the characteristics of the e90 trim, is it aluminum? is it anodized? does it have a protective clear coat?

I ordered the classic trim aluminum trim deoxidizer (http://classictrimcoat.com/) yesterday and will let you know the results. Maybe I'll even take a video of the before and after. There is a 30 day money back guarantee. Plus, I was told by the company that they also distribute their product to Bavauto, so I am guess it is the same product as sold in Bavauto but for less cost.

The E90 trim is aluminium and like all aluminium trim from the factory they just coat it with some (shitty) clear silicone to get into the aluminium's pores to keep it shiny. The issue with this is it does wear off so you need to polish it every once and a while.

I use blue magic polish cream, it works wonders, i usually take the top trim off and polish it, then just be careful not to get it on the rubber for the bottom trim, as it will take you forever to get it off of the rubber. It also leaves a protective silicone coating on the trim so it will last for a while! 2nd pic is before with oxidation, then 3rd pic is after blue magic , hope this helps goodluck

I wax my car with Liquid Glass. Since it does not turn white on rubber, you can use it on your entire car. I wash my car and then wax it from top to bottom, including all exterior glass. My trim looks new, and the wax helps keep it that way.

Mines a 2010 and I think it looks better than new.

Here it is dirty (with my new wheels) and it still looks good even up close.
