Xi rim sizes and offsets

I know that there has to be a list of rim sizes/offsets and recommended tire sizes to go with them.... I just can't find it. I'm new to BMW... Just came from the Japanese side of things (04 sti, turbo g35coupe, and back to another sti). Picked up a 08 335xi coupe (6spd of course) in April and I can't ride on my stock rims for that much longer!!!!please help!

.. No such thing exists.

Keep the rolling diameters of front/rear within 1% of each other and you'll be fine.

Cool.... Thanks for the response. Any idea around what offsets I should be looking for tho... I've been looking at "pre-owned" rims for a winter set up. My stock 18's (style 189?) are pretty beat up. The previous owner had a thing for rubbing them on curbs.

You can get them fixed for $100 each. If you buy new wheels, it's not gonna be any cheaper than $400. So if you like 189s, keep them and have them repaired. Check kwicksilver out.

19x8.5 et35 front and 19x9.5 et35 rear will definitely fit, but won't be aggressive. If you want an aggressive setup go with 19x9 et30 front and 19x10 et25 rear.

Found a set of rims.... fronts are 18x8.5 et 13 and backs are 18x10 et18 with 7.41 center bore....front 235/40/18
backs are 265/35/18

Hubcentric rings, bit of camber, and they'll work. Wheels off of an e39?

Sounds like those wheels came off of an E39. I'd recommend doing a bit of fender work to avoid any chances of rubbing, along with using hubcentric rings.

Ya... they where on a e39...you know your stuff. Im not trying to do any fender work or have to use rings....i want a "hub centric " wheel. I might have found another
18X8.5 +35 and 18X9.5 +37 would these fit ok
or these.....18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with 235-40-18 235-40-18 (not sure of the offsets but they were on a 335)

first set are volk and the second are iforged.

Those wheel specs should work without a problem. As far as the tires go, you could go with a wider rear if you'd like. 265/35/18 will fit, or perhaps even a 275/35/18.

What about oem 197's .... 8x18 with a 34 offset and 8.5x18 with a 37 offset ....i would put snow tires on these

I recently upgraded my 335xi sedan 08 to 18" 8/9" 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 and I love the setup. 35 and 37 ET I recall. Might slap spacers on rear but its a great fit and really close to same rolling diameter. That freaks me out....roasting a transfer case!
