E93 and M3 Side Mirror Question

Can you fit an M3 side mirror on an E92 or E93? Anyone know about this? Thanks.

Traditionally the mirrors between //M and non-//M cars are swapable. But since I don't have the new //M I can't really confirm for sure.

I agree with your choice though, I think that new //M mirror is very nice.

I really like the new mirrors. I am sure you will be able to swap.

Good to know ... but do you think they are exactly the same or do you think they have new bases so they mount on a E90 ?

Can't tell from the limited pics, probably need to wait for the parts diagram to see. History tells us that they are usually swappable

I doubt they are the same. From someone who used to own a sedan and now owns the coupe, they have different bases, and would not be swappable at this point...

I find this thread funny, because I strongly dislike the M3's mirrors. I honestly would swap the M3's mirrors for a stock coupe mirror set... This is assuming I own an E92 M3...

NO but the mirrors should fit because the only 2 body panels shared between the m3 and 335i are the doors; fenders hood trunk bumpers etc are all different

Not true. The coupe and sedan have completely different profiles, and different bases.

You sure about this? Same thng was said for the E46 m3 and non-m coupes, yet you are able to slap on an M3 hood on a non-m with just some very minor fender work
