Diy oss style e90 pre lci

Ok so early stage but i been wanting oss light on pre lci how ever i rather do all the work my self on my car because it makes me apreciate that much more every mod i do

So next is the PERMASEALED headlights on my pre lci e90 after reading alot it made me dout my self and putting my xenon lights to the test since they are pricy if i mess up however got a great deal on a xenon headlight sold for parts but all insides and seal were good so i purchased it

Got working on the seal yesterday took me a good 1hr or 2 to open without cutting as that is a priority to me i broke some of the molding on the back over the lense but not a big issue as its only a little extra plastic to cover where the seal is i could of been more carefull and will once i do mine

Today all taken apart i did some sanding blacked out amber and will be doing different color combinations sense its a test headlight

Today black corner with gunmetal projectors black housing

Tomorrow full black out and red projectors with black housing

Will upload pics everytime i change colors if anyone has a request of colors and i have the paint laying around i will try and do it for you i wont be sealing the headlight for a while since i wana try different colors and rings open and closed led's etc till im completely satisfied and know how i want them on my e90

Gun metal projectors black housing

Picture size wtf!

I dont know hosting site is being wierd but click on the image and link takes you to higher resolution picture!

I have done this before. The first headlight I botched way worse than yours. The second headlight came out almost 100% perfect. Make sure to have enough heat on the housing so you can bend it without breaking it.

Once I knew what I was doing it took me about 30 minutes for the second light. I have a special trick as a final step. If you come to Vancouver and you want to do it I can help you.

Are you going to change out your AE's or keep the stock ones?

Yes they have v4's for e90 but they are shaped like a horse shoe. Luce produkt rings don't have that look, they are full circled. IMO idk how well the V4's will look on an e90. I know they look sick on a e92.

so it IS possible to open e90 pre-lci headlight, as oppose to what others have been saying (can only be open by cutting the housing). What are you planning on using to seal it back? Is the euro version e90 pre-lci the same (permasealed)? BTW gunmetal look sooooo good
