Bright 3100k angel eyes
I currently have the stock angel eyes in adaptive xenon headlights (pre-lci). I have been reading through the threads and found lots of nice options for those who want to brighten up their angel eyes with LEDs. The ones that I have seen upgrade the color temperature to 5000k or greater or change the color completely.
I really like the contrast between the two color temperatures, with the warmer angel eye around the bright white xenon projector. Does anyone know of any manufactures that make much brighter upgraded bulbs for the angel eyes in 3100k? I have seen that LUX makes a very amber orange color...but this is not what I am going for. And if this product exists, I would ask the same question about the bulbs for the fog lamps. Can you buy brighter stock halogen bulbs in the stock color temperature or fog HID upgrade kits with with bulbs of the stock color temperature (again not looking for orange or yellow fogs)? Thanks! |

Nokya 2500K Halogen Upgrades. However, they will be yellow and not so much amber.
![]() I got them from : http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/nost1hyyeh8t.html Otherwise you may want to check out PIAA or Sylvania Silver Stars for OEM Replacements. After about 2 years all halogen bulbs lose about 30-40% of their output. People don't realize after several years they are driving around with dimmer head lights if they are on stock bulbs. |
