What exhaust?
I'm looking to get some exhaust work done but I like the stock BMW exhaust sound. I don't want anything too loud but, I want something that sounds nice in higher RPMS, any recommendations?

I had the hpf and it was way too loud all the time and this past weeked i switched to an AE performance dual tip, from most people that have heard it so far say it sounds great and is not overbearing like my last one. I'm loving it so far, it sounds relatively stock at low rpms and really opens up at higher rpms

I want an exhaust system that won't mess with my emissions/CEL as well.

If you went with a set of cheap flowmasters you can get this sound. Mufflers are cheap and can be welded in for even cheaper, or have custom piping made. I've done that for all my other cars. Seeing a catback exhaust pipe in the 1k-2k price range just for bmw is outragous. There is no difference between cars. Its just bmw's (Tax) That I'll never pay for.
Or you can go muffler less Although this is not our model this does sound good too, ive always been a huge spintech fan and this would be a very cheap mod to do. Its a straight 6 with turbo, so its probably a pretty close sound to the 335i. These Mufflers are maybe $300 for both, then $50 to $100 for install. hmm i'm starting to really like this sound maybe ill test it out sometime this summer. Our 3.5" exhaust shaves just over 40lbs of weight and has little to no drone in comparison to the other guys. Here's a few videos:

$760 and we offer a loyalty discount for anyone who's previously purchased a VRSF item from us in the past
This will not trigger a CEL since the sensors are set on the front cats rather than rear. |

What is the difference between a full exhaust compared to Downpipes? Could I come up to MA for you guys to install the exhaust too ?
