Are these normal sounds?

I recently bought a 08 335xi coupe, and it's already had it's share of N54 problems. I always thought the idle was noisy, but after removing the stock airbox to install DCI, the sound was much more pronounced.

From some similar questions, I think these might just be the normal DI & lifter sounds. They do seem to originate from the head, and not the serpentine like i originally thought.

The video is at idle after a run, engine temp is ~240F. Does anything sound not correct?

Good enough for me! Thanks.
I'm new to DI and it's been years since I've had a turbo car, so I'm still getting used to all the sounds.

Noisy little bugger, eh? No use complaining much, but for a performance car it sounds kinda janky. Even worse with the A/C on!

I guess the solution is to idle less!

Haha yeah, I expected much more out of a newer BMW too. But with DPs and exhaust installed I rarely notice it unless I'm standing towards the front of the car, haha.

But yeah, apparently this is normal for our cars; you'll notice another thread asking the same question in about a month with the same answer haha.
