He asked me to make him an offer... not sure what a fair price would be though

+1. (USD) But a 18x8.5 +20 offset on the front will probably stick out too far.

thanks for the input guys... and damn! Would have been nice rims, but can't have them sticking out too far...

You can even put that info into the calculator at the top. It's almost filled out already - just change the 37 to 20 and click compute. It'll stick out 20mm more than the stock sport package front wheels (8" wide and +34 offset). It might could be done without rubbing, especially if you're on stock xi suspension, but will probably look funny.

replica wheels with no brands? I would question the quality of the material wheels, there's a very good chance it's the cheapest cast...I would lowball him to like 300-400.
