I need to borrow an n52 airbox

I have a simota intake which is not CARB approved and cant pass smog. If you have an airbox and your in socal and i can borrow it for half a day please pm me!

where in socal are you? I've been thinking about getting a simota, wouldn't mind trading for a day or so to test it out

I had no idea you had to take it out to be able to do smog. What difference does it make if you don't tell them you have an aftermarket intake?

I passed with my gruppe-m replica intake, as long as I had my primary cats I passed.

because when they open the hood, they'll see the aftermarket intake and fail you. There is still both visual and sniff tests, and if you aren't stock, or have a CARB approved intake, you automatically fail. you may get lucky and get someone who doesn't check, but the state cracks down on shady shops with hefty penalties, so chances are slim.

Ohh..I'm in the valley so no smog place really cares here.
