Nice,
I'm thinking the following:

Zaino for sure, glad you reminded me so I can order today.
OEM front lip
Thinking of upgrading my 20gig Ipod to the 80 gig so I can fit my complete library
The valentine 1 seems like a good idea, may have to look into that.

So on a side note, saw a vert 335i with Montego, Saddle and Aluminum trim (my setup) was nice. Saw it at Best Buy on colorado blvd. Man got me anxious for the car to arrive

Damn you! I just realized I could fit my whole library too if I got the 160 GB. iTunes is such a PITA when your library is bigger than your iPod. Nah, I have to stop the insanity and hold off on that for now. Or... I don't suppose you'd be interested in a used 60 GB model? Maybe I should eBay it.

Whoa, what are the odds of that? I still haven't seen too many 335s at all, although there are tons of silver E90s, of course.

Yeah, I'd love to go for PROcede v2 but I can't afford to gamble my warranty at this point.

Damn, why did I have to use my real name here? If I ever do get it, I don't think I'll be admitting it here.

jtmccabe,

It's funny I just saw your sig in another post in the detailing section, and I said to myself I should congratulate you on your 2008 sedan. I bought a sedan too and I thought I was the only one because every other post I saw is a 335 coupe. The good thing is mine reached the VPC yesterday and hopefully I should get a call from my CA soon.

As for the list of things to buy, I still have my old radar detector sitting in the garage, so I think I am good there. I bought the zaino products and I am on detailedimage.com right now buying mitts and drying towels just like you did!

Can wait to get the car!!!

Yeah, I feel kinda like an old fart buying a sedan. I think we are in the minority here. I want to get the maximum use of out of my car and I know how it'll be with a 2-door -- anytime there are more than two of us, we'll end up taking the boring SUV. But hey, let's face it -- it ain't no Buick!

Congrats on yours too!

Where in TX are you from? PM if you want. I grew up in El Paso and went to school in College Station.

Wow, what a coincidence, I went to school in College Station too. I am in Houston now.

When we first started looking, we wanted to get the coupe. But our practical thinking took over and we went with the sedan. I used to drive a z3coupe, that thing was a blast. When I told my wife I want to get a bmw, she laughed and said I’m going back to the mother ship

I was planning on assigning some of the All Purpose Microfiber Towels to permanent grimy area duty. I don't see why I couldn't just wash and reuse them over and over.

Damn, I just realized I bought 6 of those instead of 4 as intended. I'm out of control.

I got the Zaino stuff, including the extra washing gear, and painted side markers from Longtran so far...

Now if I just had my car, I could use the stuff...

1) still working on getting an e90post.com decal and the norcal decal, but I don't have any stamps or envelopes to send to longtran for return mail so I'm going to try to remember to get some.
2) Still trying to pull the trigger to get the oem lip and matching sidemarker, but I don't want to jinx myself as there is still a month to go before my car arrives.

$300+ of cleaning stuff!!

I have a similar list: Zaino's Ultimate Protection Kit, Z8 (not included in kit), 2 MF waffle weave drying towels, 2 ultra fine MF waffle weave glass drying towels, 15 regular MF towels, 2 Ult-Mitts, 1 Ulti-Scrubbers, applicators, sponges, buckets, and grit guards.

For sometime after delivery, I'm looking at the Lux 4.0 (but may try to just get some bulbs first due to budget constraints ), clear bra, tints, V1, plug and play turbo tuner by split second, and Hartmann M5 replicas with performance tires for the summer. Oh, and a modest vanity plate.

Did you order your car with 17s or 18s? I take it you'll be putting snow tires on those. What do you plan to do with your stock runflats?

I want to get snow tires and new 19s and tires in the spring, but I'd really not have to deal with selling the stock runflats. I wonder if the local Discount Tire would let me trade them in for a decent amount.

You should post an add in the marketplace forums as I'm sure they would go quick and plus get much more then a trade-in.

Yeah, I'm sure I could get more here but I'm curious if anyone has any idea what kind of trade-in value I might get. Might be worth taking the hit just to avoid the hassle.
