Weird part near driver front wheel

Hey guys, I found this part that's hanging over the control arm and it looks broken. It's not on the other side so I'm not sure what to do with it. Does anyone know what it is? Should I remove it of go back to dealer and tell them to fix it?

Thanks

The weird thing is, it's not on the other side? Is it of big concern?

Yes, you need to take it somewhere to get looked at.

I think that's the leveling lever for your headlamps. Swaybar endlings are much thicker and do not attach to the control arms.

It's only on the driver side. Can I just jack up the car and reattach it?

As Vasillalov wrote, its the sensor for the height adjustment of your headlamps.....

No. It looks like the arm is broken.

I hate that little levelling sensor, clipping it back on after doing suspension work is always a nightmare.

The plastic piece on the sensor is broken, you might be able to epoxy it back together, but I recall that the part wasn't that expensive so it may be easier to replace it.

Did you lower the car recently or have any suspension work done?

No i haven't done anything the the car yet. I just brought in the car to the dealer and was quoted $270 for parts and labor. I was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy the part and do it myself or bring it in to a shop? And where i can get this part?
