aluminum foil around bolts???

someone has told me that if you put aluminum foil around bolts, it'll mess up the radar gun from getting your speed???
i tried googling it for more infos, but got nothing.
any help ???
or maybe he was joking.?

yea it works, just wrap aluminum foil around the biggest bolt you can find

really though its effectiveness is completely reliant on your aim
