Look on eBay, the Max was going for quite the premium a few days ago ($700+)

Could sell it, buy a v1 and pocket more then $100

I got my new Max for $549 minus $120 trade-in of my old 9800iX directly from Escort - who's gonna pay someone on eBay $150 more than what mfg charges?

I ended up sending it back to escort inc. The radar was good, but imo I like the v1 better. I feel it alerts you faster and tells you which direction. Although the max has some cool factors to it.
