Coding with BT Pro Tool
Hi guys
I wanted to know if anyone has coded their car with the BT Pro Tool? I am in need of cancelling the SOS error and deleting the catless downpipe CEL in particular. Is this possible with the BT Pro Tool or do I need to do it with NCS Expert and the corresponding cable? Thanks for any help

Whole unit? What do you mean? I have a BT "Enthusiast" cable (3 VINs) and I tried just about everything to get it to work as an INPA cable and failed. I know it uses the FTDI chipset and it is, at the core, a K+DCAN interface, but I, for one, don't think it is possible to use it with anything but the BT software.

I believe they use different protocols so it won't work. They are working on a cheaper 1 VIN version for $179. Should be coming out soon (within weeks supposedly).
