Hi Sir . Yes you should flush every year your coolant. Not the big flushing thing but only open the blue nut under your radiator. This way you will have to change approximatly 70 percent of your fluid. It is good because your coolant lost gradually his properties and became more acid. It cost approximatly 20 dollars.

Flushing every year is a bit excessive. Every 3-4 years for coolant is more than sufficient. I do recommend testing with one of the suction type coolant testers every year though, just to monitor the freeze protection. Also change if it appears dirty or if your oil housing gasket is leaking (you will have plenty of rubber particles in your coolant). I believe they are one of the culprits that leads to premature water pump failure in these cars. I have 82k and still on my original pump

Every year might be a bit much. I think Mike Miller recommends flushing the coolant every two years. It's not too difficult to do it yourself.

I did a coolant flush at 75k, and noticed a pretty significant improvement. Oil temperature decreased by an average of 15 to 20°F

I would advise you to get the leak fixed before it gets worst. Then do the flush.
