You will need to polish these spots out. water minerals have etched your glass. For OTC product, Meguiars Ultimate Compound should do the trick. If you want to dish out extra cash and buy a professional level compound also for your paint, you can consider Menzerna SIP 1500 or FG400.

White Vinegar+distilled water Solution would not work if the spots has been baked on. It works great when the spots are fresh. Spray it on and let it dwell for about a minute or so then rinse with water.

Etched Water Spots on glass is a bit harder to deal with than if they are on paint. Polishing Glass is a long and messy process due to the inherent hardness of glass. In the extreme case... you most likely will need a rotary with some glass polishing pads as well as a glass polish.

Try a product called Chemical Guys Water Spots Remover (http://www.detailedimage.com/Chemica...P194/16-oz-S1/ ) to see if you could reduce its appearance. You could do this by hand w/ a MF or with a buffer. You might have to do several applications before you see any improvements.

In some cases..... Claying might work but generally not if the spots are old but what do you have to loose. Some will even suggest 0000 Steel wool but I am not a fan of this since the risk of instilling deeper scratches is greater.

This happened to me. I used stove top cleaner. It moved the spots.

use carpro ceriglass to clan those spots off the glass
