Finally did it...

I finally ordered the car:
2008 BMW 328xi
Alpine White
Terra Leather
Burl Walnut Wood
ZPP
ZCW
Xenon Adaptive Headlights
iPod / USB Adapter

I ordered it this past Tuesday. The car is scheduled for week 43 build, with a tentative arrival estimate of November 25th. I hope it will come in sooner! I can't wait to post some pics!

Oh wow, I remember this feeling. 1st stage of excitement. I, like others here, are waiting for our ship to arrive.

Stage 1.
Ordered the car. Looked at numerous videos and pictures of the particular BMW.

Stage 2.
This is when you have received notice that your car has been built. Excitement no. 2.

Stage 3. Finally, the car is built en route to its destination. Excitement becoming more intense. That's we're we are at the moment awaiting stage 4.

I decided not to get it because of a few reasons. First, I hate the rims that come with the package and I actually like the standard rims alot (albeit a bit smaller). I also didn't feel like getting the optional rims with the performance tires because that would mean having to get snow tires in the winter. Additionally, I could do without the nicer steering wheel, the paddle shifters, and the seats. The purchase had alot to do with practicality in mind, because the enthusiast in me wanted a 335i with only a Sport Package!

Nice man -- I just ordered an '08 328xi coupe a few weeks ago...without sport pretty much for the same reason. The wait has been killer!

You guys are not going to believe this! My salesman found another 3-series (a canceled order) that is exactly the same as the one I ordered! It is already status 151 and he thinks I might get it in the next 3-weeks!
