PDC Scheduled October 25!

Finally got my PDC date, set for October 25th

Anyone else scheduled for the same day??

I can only wish. I have to wait till Nov 26th. Did you know the factory tour is shut down? They are working on a new vehicle to be released at a major auto show next year.

Yes, they mentioned that, but that's okay, I still think the whole adventure will be great. I'm finding I'm tracking my ship less often now that I know what day I will get it. Course I'm still tracking it once a day!! I WAS tracking it more than once a day.

BTW, seems like the day will never get here, but then suddenly, once its made, everything seems to move faster.

How did you get ur pdc date?

My dealer got it for me. Once the car was on a ship, he emailed the PDC and they sent back a proposed date.

I am amazed at how much more beautiful this car is in person. The color alone is just much prettier than the pictures. The seats are so comfortable and I love the heated seats. I'm getting used to things like the turn signals and such. We (husband and I) have already figured out a good bit of the navigation and that's very cool. Nice not to have to get directions to ANYWHERE in advance.

The Performance Center was amazing! We did the skid pad (throwing a car into a 360 spin on purpose was interesting). We did the offroad, the braking exercises and were taken for a fast ride (where the instructor drove, a bit heart pounding.

Unfortunately, they had us drive their X5's in the off road stuff. THAT was amazing, but now my husband is talking about getting one - I don't know about 2 car payments!! We drove through 21 inches of water, drove on two wheels, stuff like that, it's an awesome car.

The staff is amazing and all there just to make your day special.

I took a TON of pictures, but will have to wait until I get home to post them, we forget adapter to transfer them to computer. So Sunday night, I'll post the pictures of the MOST BEAUTIFUL BMW I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

Nothing much. We brought that bag, it was the one the dealer gave us when we purchased the car (had all our freebies in it), so we used it to keep everything together that we had to bring, the license plate, insurance card, tag receipt, bill of sale, all that stuff has to be shown to the Performance Center for them to give you the car.

The coffee is "high performance" BMW coffee though!
