Tracking the system in his bmw? I wonder if they can do that legally here in the states. But other than that I really don't think this personal matter should be discussed on the forum.

I wonder how one can possibly "wonder" about it, when even 8-year-olds in USA heard about massive number of cases about US drivers discovering GPS tracking devices covertly installed under their cars without warrant. This is all over the news. If I remember correctly, in 2012 the Supreme Court ruled that a warrant is required. (Not that any serious enforcement authority of the US regime really cares about any Supreme Court decisions, besides, probably, ordinary city police.)
