15mm spacer on rear rubs on road dips, please advise!
Hello, today I just got done installing brand new 19" wheels AND tires (235/35/19 and 265/30/19) on 335i Coupe (sport package). I was told that 15mm rear and 12 front would be ok but when I hit some road bumps or dips the rear rubs a bit. Under normal driving conditions its fine. I installed 12 mm BMS spacers for the front. If I switch the 12 mm in the rear should it resolve my rubbing issue when hitting road dips?
Thanks Last edited by farzadkavari; 08-17-2013 at 09:06 PM.. |

I'd say just roll your fenders a little. We're talking about essentially 3-5mm of clearance *IF* the 12mm spacers fix the problem. But then again IDK if 3-5mm is worth an extra 100+ bucks to roll said fenders.

Yea, I can have my fenders rolled for $90 (both) in my area. What you mean not sure if its worth to roll or not?

Because you already have the 12mm spacers you can replace the 15mm spacers with. If that fixes the rubbing issue then no need to roll the fenders. Then again you would have to buy spacers to replace the 1s you had in the front as well. Just get them rolled... sorry... my posts are becoming redundant! Lmao

yeah, swaping the spacers should help. You might need a slight roll, or just live with the minor rubbing.
