Is the PAC audio SNI-35 LOC any good?

MY buddy got a new HU so is selling his PAC audio SNI-35 line out converter for 10 bucks . I'm just wondering if the quality will be any good compared to the soundgate/stinger big name companies...I know how to tap in the remote wire so I don't think I'll need the PAC audio trunk-loc. Btw....the new X5 (E70) uses the same wiring of the e90 (Hi-Fi system) so this site helps me wayyy more than those other X5 forums lol.
