iPod touch mounting
Well, the moment I saw it in person it only took about 30 seconds until I was standing in line with my purchase. The most awesome device I have seen in a long time. The question is, has anyone else bought one of these babies and how are you mounting it in your bimmer?
I am currently leaving it under the armrest, but I am having a hard time leaving that glorious screen under wraps. Any mounting ideas that will look nice, and not like something with 50 thousand cables hanging from it? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, I thought I was the only one who bought one of these
![]() I was thinking about hacking up an iPod dock and sticking it into the ashtray, wired up to the aux input. I might give it a try. The Touch would fit nicely in that area.

I'm about to purchase one of these babies.. They look amazing... I haven't got my car yet, but do they have any slot for the iPod to sit in the car without getting tossed around?
Thanks and any positive information on touch would be great.. as compared to the other versions. ![]() |

Well, it does not seems longer then a pair of sunglasses so if you buy the sunglass holder to replace the astray, you might be able to fit the itouch there with velcro so it wont fly away during high speed turnings. Then you can run the wires under the console into the armrest somehow. Just an idea.
