Mobil1 0w-40 full synthetic

Hello,

I did a search on this thread and didn't find enough info on this oil. Sorry if this is a repost.

I been consistently using the 5w-30 grade for oil changes and my car has 154K. Can I switch over and use the Mobile1 0w-40?

I have extras of these for a Mercedes and wanted to know if I can use them without making a separate trip to the store for 5w-30.

Thanks

Mobil 1 0w-40 is BMW approved. It is also OEM oil for Porsche.
