what transmission oil?

What kinda oil are you guys running in the n54 335i auto 2007

I don't think many people want to risk trans issues. The OE specified oil is designed with this exact application in mind.

OEM oil. No real benefit to using anything else honestly.

I use Royal Purple in my 6-speed, though I may switch to Redline since that's what I use in my other car now. Not sure if they make something for the auto, or if it's even cheaper.

I changed my tranny oil witch was oem to royal purple and what a difference in the smoothness ! Loved the product

Stick with oem automatic trans fluid, or if you must upgrade to another type, redline d6 automatic trans fluid.
