I have been waiting for this to happen. I might just order the DCI and see what happens.

The website is terrible though! Loads of blank pages and 404's. The N54 JB4 page for example: http://www.performance-bmw.co.uk/pro...B4/N54Engines/.

The CP-E DPs are defo LHD only and I'm pretty sure the BMS ones are the same. Nothing a decent welder can sort by moving the O2 sensor bungs.

It wasn't blank yesterday.

A basic JB4 was £440 though. With USB it was over £500.

I hope they've pulled it to amend their prices. If juicedup tuning couldn't find a market with their prices, these guys won't cut it.

Yeah, downpipes are a real pain.

Lots of them don't fit or will require lots of fiddling about....which I don't want.

Even on the BMS website they say that theres needs moving etc...

and the CPE one doesn't fit UK cars....and that UK website still advertises it?

VRSF ones are direct bolt on and great value. You will have to wait for them from the states though.

They're advertising clutch stops which were being sold at $10 with free shipping on the BMS site for £60!

As far as the CPE DPs are concerned, I know of someone with a 1M who has ordered and was told by Terry himself that the o2 bungs need moving.

+1 I don't see why people are so worried about ordering from the states, the wait is pretty much the same if they are not holding stock here and even if customs sting you, the overall cost is the same if not less in most circumstances.

I agree the prices look heavy. But that said. You may save x ammount from ordering from the us but to be fair it doesnt come next day does it.

I expect they are unofficial resellers, not authorised distributors and hence would cause no end of hassle if you have any problems with goods purchased. The manufacturer could reject warranties on the basis of you not being the original buyer etc!

Problem is some people don't know to order directly - these are the people they'll target via eBay etc..

They posted on BMWs Facebook page promoting their power kits and lsd's - with their web address some idiots may be fooled!

Hi All,

A member on here pointed this thread out to me so I thought it best to come on here and let people know who we are.

At Performance Developments our original area of expertise was working with Motorsport based vehicles and developing ECU systems and software to run everything from engine, gearboxes, traction control systems etc... and also install and calibration of aftermarket ECU systems such as Motech, Omex, Haltech etc... In 2007-2008 when the economy went downhill we branched out a little and catered also for standard road cars and ever since, business has boomed. We set up a network of dealers and are now part of the Sedox Performance group with over 70 dealers worldwide including offices in the UK, Norway, South Africa and Mexico.

As a BMW and VW / Audi specialist we came accross the Burger Motorsport JB4 products whilst visiting a tuning company in Florida and quickly snapped up a few kits as well as a Methanol setup for our own E28 135i demo car, we were so impressed with the results that we started reccomending them to customers and placing orders with the old UK supplier (Juiced Up tuning) and then when the opportunity arose we took over the UK distribution and supply contract, and also supply Burger products across Europe.

If people want to take a look at what we do, heres our software (remapping) website:

www.sedox-performance.co.uk

Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sedox...80034348683514

And Burger products can be found here:

www.performance-bmw.co.uk

The BMW products website did have some incorrect prices and most have been rectified, some still need looking into but our web designer and many vital staff members have been away on holiday recently so we are clearing a backlog of work and just getting it all up to date. All orders are currently being taken by phone so any website errors wont affect the price you pay when ordering, the problem stemmed from Burger changing prices in the USA and our website trying to correct for these changes caused some products to be underpriced, and others overpriced.

I noticed people mentioning prices of the JB4, heres an example:

http://www.performance-bmw.co.uk/pro...ge3Jb4-963.htm

We charge £435 + £12 delivery = £447 for this item in the UK, the same item bought from Burger in the USA costs $479 + $55 delivery = $534, divide this by todays exchange rate on paypal (1.51) gives a cost delivered of £353

When this Arrives in the UK the product attracts 3% duty and then 20% VAT giving a sub total of £436 and is processed via Parcel force that charge £13 as a customs fee, giving a total of £449

So by buying in the UK you save £2 and get the items next day if ordered before 12pm with technical support from experts here in the UK that are working on and tuning BMW's on the dyno day in, day out and we now have a dedicated member of staff dealing with enquiries and tech support for the Burger products.

If people have any further question or comments, feel free to ask.

Well said. I like to see people stick up for themselves. Admittedly I was previously skeptical about some prices but they have been cleared up during a recent phone call to these guys. So far so good. Answered the phone pretty lively. Had a good chat, it turns put these guys are pretty knowledgable on the burger motorsport products. Ill post more when I know more.

Admittedly juiced up where an odd one. Everything was so cheap it was unreal. When buying in bulk from the states you dont get hit with the same duty as personal items. Pkus you get the vat back on each item. So from a stand point thats why juiced up where able to do so due to passing that saving to the buyer.

Not all companies can justify doing this though. And in some ways I dony blame them.

Juiced up tuning couldn't generate enough custom at their prices. These prices are far too high.

You can buy them direct and from US ebay resellers for less than prices quoted.

I appreciate people bringing good products back to the market, but don't mug us.
