getting a drop tomorrow

well i said i wasnt going to mod this car, but after gaydon, its got to be done (slightly)

Ive bought some eibach pro lowering springs off teddy.

So what should i expect? is the drop subtle on the msport or will it be very noticeable? I didnt want to make the ride any harder and didnt want it too low, theres alot of speed bumps round here.

next mod will be spacers to fill the arches, still undecided on wheels because I really like the 313's ive already got, but may end up changing them just to be more individual.

possibly.... when i had my 313s fitted by my dealer they said they would only fit OEM wheels. I mentioned that i was thinking about lowering it and they said it would invalidate the warranty. However, Eibach's are meant to look very OEM and only offer a small drop so you could get away with it.

well im guessing that as long as it doesnt look slammed and any warranty claim isnt suspension related, the dealer isnt going to start looking for unrelated mods on the car,,,,hopefully.
the dealer makes money on a warranty claim, so aslong as they know they can get paid out by bmw ,they arnt going to start looking for reasons not to do the work.

exactly, I'm still thinking of going down the eibach route too, don't want it slammed but want a small drop. Could even get some black paint and paint over the eibach writing on your new srpings before there fitted..... just a thought

There's been reports that eibach pro doesn't do anything for height if you're already on m sport (unless you have a 335 because they're heavier). Did lots of searching but it was all a bit unclear as to whether it drops or not so I bottled it. If you follow through please update as I'd be curious

I've seen a few people saying the pros don't make that much difference so I went for the Sportlines, really happy with them, not much stiffer and just the right amount of low for the UK roads.

I went with h&r sport and really cant fault them. The drop is perfect and ride comfort not really much different from the oem sport set up

You can only get the pro kit for the e92 though. I too have heard that the pro kit doesn't offer much of a drop. My issue is I park alot in multi story car parks and don't want to scrape my front going up and down ramps otherwise would look at h&r springs

Had prokit springs fitted to mine today with B4s shocks.

Looks higher than before! But should settle after a few days.. Corners and brakes much flatter than before though..

Not taken any photos recently, only fitted them a couple of weeks ago. I've got this one but bare in mind only the fronts are fitted here, only half way through haha. They've also settled slightly more now.

And compared to it on SE springs:

If anything, it highlights my need for spacers which should be going on this weekend!

Yes it is, I originally only put the after picture on and then edited it with the before... didn't really think about how well it would flow haha.

And yes, on those photos only the fronts are fitted, not got any since the rears went on sorry.

Mine is on Eibach Pro springs

Its definitely lower than the M Sport springs!
I had H&R on my S4 and RS4, and they were very low, out of choice I'd of got those but the BMW came with the Eibachs already fitted

Eibach Pro's on my E92,

I just wish they were 10-15mm lower on front and rear... Maybe I should have invested in H&R's?
