Depends on the colour of the car. I prefer matte black on SGM. Since yours is black, though, def gloss.

I replaced the chrome trimmed grills on my black 2010 E92 with matte black, and I find it a much better look.

335is Grilles are the best by far. You can also color key the frame and leave the vertical chrome, I did that on my old car.

buy the bmw performance grills that come in gloss black. Keep your stock chrome ones. you can switch out the chrome inlays with the black ones. now you theoretically have both (as long as you switch out the inner slits) - bmw performance grills and 335is grills.

I think it depends on the color of your window trim. If it's chrome, stick with the chrome kidney grilles. If it's black, go for the gloss black kidneys. I think it'd look weird if they were different.

That's a really good idea. The IS grilles use a black chrome but this option might even look better.

I've been debating this as well. I have a space gray e92 with black window trim and I recently vinyl wrapped my roof in gloss black. What do you guys think about black grilles on mines?

Edit: Should I do all gloss black, matte black, etc?

Like a few others I can't decide whether matte or gloss black looks better on Monaco Blue E90. I had gloss in my old Sparkling Graphite and it was awesome. Opinions?

Gloss black so it complements the roof.

I looked on Tischer, but they have black chrome, not gloss black? Please correct me if I am wrong:
