Time to dealer after unloaded from ship in NJ

Couple of questions to all of you in NJ and Tri-State area who already got your cars.
My car was on the Freedom and was discharged yesterday.
I was hoping to get the car in 2-3 days after that, but I've heard it could be a week.
I need a little poll here to find out how many days it took you to get your cars (and if I'm being stalled).
Also, does anyone know if they work today at the VPC or do they observe the Columbus Day "holiday"?

Mine was discharged off Integrity at 10/1. It's still in vpc.

I'm getting it from JMK BMW at Springfield.

Ouch! Are they at least telling you when you'll be getting the car?

Mine landed on 9/30 and arrived at the dealer on 10/6. VPC - SC; Dealer - Cleveland

Mine (335 convertible) was dicharged on the 27th of September, and arrived at the dealer on October 4th. Seven days from discharge to dealer. The dealer had a lot of information towards the end of the VPC arrival.

They printed the work order for the car on 10/2. The work order was complete (completed VPC) on the third. It was released to the carrier on 10/4, and arrived in Princeton, NJ (West Windsor actually) at 4:30 that afternoon.

I picked it up on Friday, and thus far no issues, not even electrical which my past BMW's had plenty of.

I would expect your car by next Tuesday or so. Of course if they are working today, it is possible to get your car by weeks end if all goes well at the port.

It partially depends on the carrier as well. If they do not have a full load for one dealer the trip could take multiple days, as they would need to make several stops enroute.

I also know that even if your dealer is very close to the port, the driver might decide to make the further away deliveries first.

After reading your responses, I'm getting worried.

Maybe something is wrong with my car and they need extra time to fix it.

My car was discharged from the vessel Faust on 10/4 ( last thurs ). I am expecting it this thursday; maybe Wednesday if I am lucky.

Mine was also on the Freedom and discharged two minutes before yours. I called the Euro delivery number and they said it could take upto 2 weeks in customs/VPC.

I was on the Freedom as well....The dealer called yesterday and told me 5-7 days for pick up.....Going to a Rallye BMW in Westbury LI.....All good things come to those that wait....."So im told"........

Dealer emailed me that my car is in this morning !!!!!!!!!!! Only took 4 days to the dealership after Unloaded off the ship
