quality wipers that are compatible with the wiper caps

Okay,

so today I stopped by Advance Auto to get bosch wipers for my e90. They didn't stock bosch for that car, but they stocked Trico(sp?) Onyx wipers. I decided to give em a go since all the other stores were closed. Well, I got them on only to realize you cant fit the cover caps back on. I returned them and the guy looked em up again and we realized every wiper they stock says "remove and discard caps". IMO, they look tacky without the caps. I came home to research this and found that the OEM bosch Aerotip wipers are only available in Europe now, and the American dealers stock an American made wiper that is inferior to bosch (in order to increase margins by avoiding international shipping).

So, with that, dealer OEM is out of the question. Are there ANY brand/model wipers that retain the caps available in the U.S.? I'd prefer Napa, Advance Auto, or Carquest cause I can get wholesale pricing at those. I saw on rockauto that the bosch wipers don't have note of "disregard caps" like some of the other options. Can anyone confirm those Bosch do, infact, retain the caps?

As mentioned above ^^^^^^

Valeo is the OE mfg. of BMW wiper blades, not Bosch...

I always replace the wiper arm caps with new ones every time I replace the blades (just as the dealer did while my car was under maintenance plan).

So if you want OEM fitment you either need to go with blades from dealer, or go here:

costco has some goodyear wipers that work very well. theyre like $8 each thats a plus.

I was going to say, I bought some Bosch wipers and the caps didn't fit back on. Just carrying on without the caps for now but it does look nasty compared to OEM

I have not used them but if the valeo wipers do fit or are oe you can order from advance auto parts online. Use coupon code p20 and the pair comes out the be 36 shipped to your door.

Honestly I just trimmed my caps and they fit back on and look great.

I agree though it's sure annoying that all of the wipers say to remove and discard the caps. The arm looks terrible without the cap in place.

I have the rainx ones and they fit perfectly with no problems. They work great as well. have run them for a year now with no streaks.

I get my valeo wipers off amazon. just make sure you have the correct size. don't go off what amazon tells you what fits.

oh and don't buy the Goodyear wipers at Costco. they are garbage when compared to valeo. they have this universal fit thing that looks terrible.

I got the rain-x and could NOT get the covers to fit back on… ended up getting OEM… install took 30 seconds max.

I bought Trico NeoForm I had same problem you need like the ##B model or something work good pretty much exact as oem just ask and put then on outside cuz they gave me wrong one
