VMR V710 Fitment and 189 Winter Setup
Hi all, I'm about to pull the trigger on a new summer set for my Pre-LCI E92 335i.
I'm looking at VMR V710s in the following sizes: Front: 19x8.5, et 35 Rear: 19x9.5, et 33 For tires, I am going to go with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. What is the recommended tire size I should go with? Also, I'd love to be able to reuse my stock 189s as winter wheels. If I wanted to get Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60s, what size would I go with to fit the 189s? Thanks in advance for the help! |

235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is what we'd recommend for the V710s. You'll be a very happy person with that setup!

Thanks for the replies and help.
Can someone else confirm that 235/40/18 will fit well on my 189s as a winter setup? Gotta be 100% sure before I drop $3k on wheels and tires.. |

Looks like tirerack doesn't have 235/40/18 for the Blizzack LM-60.
Is running a staggered winter setup recommended? I could get 225/40 fronts and 245/40 rears. Or would 225s all around be better? 225 seems a little narrow for the 8.5" rear wheel. Thanks for the help guys. Last edited by Nex054; 09-11-2013 at 02:40 PM.. Reason: More stuff |

A 225/40/18 front and rear should be fine as well.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....60XL&tab=Sizes Recommended specs for that tire size specify the wheel width should be 7.5" to 9" wide.
