Tire Bulges
My 330 has modest bulges on 3 out of 4 tires. What causes this? Are they covered by warranty?

Tires are not covered under warranty, but most tires have a warranty apart from the car from the tire manufacturer. This of course depends on how old and how many miles you have on your tires, but bulging is no good and you should have it looked at.

usually caused by impact damage with potholes and the like.
the bulge is a broken ply in the sidewall allowing air to leak into the thinner rubber shell of the sidewall. this bubble can pop and cause an almost instant deflation. not covered by warranty as its a roadhazard. unless you have roadhazard insurance.

Properly-working tires are really important. Run flats or not, you should have them looked at as soon as possible. Even if you are using run-flats, a tire blow out (or several simultaneous blow outs) is a serious matter. You don't want to be running around with damaged tires; no need to be asking for trouble.
