xDrive versus Non For Wheel Selection?

Just wondering... I'm shopping for some winter rims/tires for my '11 335i xDrive and have been told by a few people that the dealership said that a set of 17's I'm looking at won't work for an xDrive setup (link to the tires posted below). Anybody know why or why not a set wouldnt work with xdrive? Apologies for my newbness haha...

Thanks.

Not all 17 inch wheels fit over 335i brakes. That's one rearson why they would say that it wont work. Other reason would be that the tyres diameter difference is over 1%.

Do you mean the diameter difference between front/back or between what is on there currently versus what I would be putting on?

I currently have the staggered M-sport 193's for summer.
