New headlights

I just bought these headlights http://www.ebay.com/itm/G-USA-Spec-D...98682717#rpdId I know I get what I paid for. Since they come with an 8k HID bulb and ballast, I want a 6k HID bulb for a whiter output. I just want to be steered in the right direction for an error free H7 bulb and ballast.

they take h7 bulbs? never knew that

just get a kit from DDM or ebay with error cancellers. I got my dad a set from ebay for his benz for like 40 bucks shipped and have no issues.

I could be completely wrong they might just be D1S bulbs, I guess I'll have to see for myself when I receive the headlights

Fishcake is highly reputable! That's a great choice man. Pics when you get them installed!

Just got them installed today! Took the pictures with my phone. They look whiter in person and they gave 0 errors after installation. And yes I know my bumper's paint is peeling off

Now I'm hoping to find someone who can code them for me.

Picture also taken with a phone of just the Angel Eyes at night from an angle

How did you get the AE as DRL on the 07 328? I have the same car and heard it couldn't be done, or did you just turn the knob for the picture?

The car was turned off with the key in the key fob and the knob turned once to the right.

Are you sure it can't be coded? I'm sure I've seen our cars with just the AE's as DRL's.

The light output is better than what my halogens put out. Although I would have liked to have 6k h7 bulbs instead of the 8k h7 bulbs that the headlights came with for the low beams. I got the 6k bulbs delivered to me after I got my headlights installed so I'll have to find the time to replace the current bulbs with the 6k ones. But I'm very satisfied with what I bought.

If you don't mind a picture at night, with you're car facing a wall to see the projector beam. Just park like 15-20 ft away

You just need to swap to a frm2 and get it coded.

There is no way that these take h7 bulbs if they came with a ballast. Should be some aftermarket D1S or D2S bulbs. Your highbeams, however, should still be halogen bulbs.

You're right they did come with ballast so I guess I'm out $15 on the bulbs I bought. Yeah my high beams are still halogen.

Looks like my car has FRM2 so I should just be able to get it coded to just the AE's as DRL's
