HELP: Window Trim Double Side Tale

Ok so before I start, I looked up and down and couldn't find a thread on this yet so hopefully I can get some help.

I removed my top window trim from both sides of my 335i to paint them and was curious if it's possible to purchase the double sided foam tape they use to help mount the trim to the car.

I know they will stay just fine with the clips, but I'd like to make sure they're on snug with the same stuff they came with from the factory.

I have no idea what the tape is actually called so any info would be great. Thanks folks!

For most things just use 3m double sided tape. haven't ever seen a factory double sided tape but someone may know.

+1

3M double-sided tape is what you want, even if the dealer have their own "BMW" brand it wouldn't be any better.

3M is not what I'm looking for. That stuff is a completely different material that the stock trim tape. Thanks though!

Your best bet, if you don't want 3m, would be to go to the dealer and ask.
