radio removal

if i remove and unplug the radio from my 2006 e90 msport will it need recoding or when i plug it back in will it work as normal

There have been no problems reported .

There have been no problems reported with removing radios .
Think about it if power is lost to the car would you design a car
that has to be reprogrammed every time a battery is changed
or the battery goes bad.
If you replace a radio then it has to be programmed with the options
of the old one.
