Advice on more induction noise
I've read post after post about induction kits but can't find a specific answer to my question...
I've got a 2012 318i sports plus coupe and as much as I love it I just want it to sound a little more grunty, I don't want it to sound like a Subaru or a Nova with a big bore exhaust on, I just want it to sound meatier under acceleration. Is there a recommended induction kit that will achieve this or any other mod I could use? Cheers. |

Before the silly comments off 'you should have got a bigger engine' brigade come in.
I would put in a k and n panel filter and stainless exhaust to get a more subtle but gruntier sound.

I agree. Dont go open cone. As it'll sounf like every other 4 cylinder which is what you dont want.
A nice stainless exhaust will sort out the noise but again listen to allot of youtube videos girst as again with a 4 cylinder youll end up sounding like an average car with a system. |
