m sport to m aero/lip?

So everyone on here goes from the pre lci to the lci m sport bumper

but personally i like the pre lci bumper with the aero lip on e92s. Thats just me sorry 'bout it

I have the m sport bumper that came with the car but i want to convert to the pre lci w/aero lip. would this just be plug in play? or is it going to require a bunch of modding that I am probably not capable of doing myself?

Thanks a bunch

Technically most people go pre-lci to pre-lci m-sport (if you go to LCI msport, you have to do new headlights also).

As for m-sport to non-msport bmper with the aero lip, it isn't that hard and will require the same things that going the other way requires. You will need all the air ducts, front half of the inner fenders, undertray, foglights and foglight supports and a few misc screws possibly (although when I went regular to m-sport, I think I needed a few more screws, so going the other way you should have enough.)

So not only do i just buy the old pre lci bumper but the things you listed i.e. air ducts, front half of the inner fenders, undertray, foglights and foglight supports

I can't just use my undertray, air ducts, and inner fenders? or it wouldn't fit?

But I'll have more than enough screws since I'm working backwards?

Yep ducts are different as the get air in different spots, fogs and supports are different, under tray is different where it connects to bumper and to front of inner fenders.

You will also need the lower bumper grills (all 3) as they are different also.

Do you think I could get those parts from tischer?
Or could I get them from the classifieds?

Tischer will definitely have them, but I bet you could find them in a salvage yard. Like you said, no ones going pre-lci.

I'm sure you could find someone that's willing to do a trade straight up.

I think half the world has a non m-tech bumper kicking around with all the parts need as they took it off and put on an msport bumper, so should have everything left over (I do, in my attic!), betting if you have a little patience and post up as wanted, you can even get one the right color - a lot of people would sell the non msport probably cheap or certainly be happy to swap for an msport setup!

You're right
I think I want to keep my m sport bumper just in case I want to switch it up again
I'm just experimenting.
