Revised remap today (335d) after other mods

Well, today I decided to get my DMS map "tweaked" to take into account the other mods I have done since the map was originally done. Those mods being:- CKS Custom built exhaust (CAT back all boxes deleted), Wagner FMIC, ITG panel air filter.

The last map I had done was 354 BHP on the day and then re-tested after a couple of hundred Miles at 360 BHP & 575 Ft Lbs.

So today's run (without adaption) was:-372 BHP & 600 Ft Lbs....I would expect the BHP to be about 380 after adaption. I have done about 140 miles today following the remap and must say it is noticeably better then when it came straight off the dyno this morning. Pulling away in 1st is sharper and stronger and above 4k RPM is stronger too. Any input anywhere in the rev range feels more instant and mid range pull is really good too.

The graph below show the runs done AFTER the adaption last time (so at its best) and the top line is today's dyno BEFORE any adaption has taken place.

Goddamn it! I hate not having jack sh!t to make my d faster here in the States.

OP...372/600 that must be a fun car to drive! Wish I had the tuning support and parts availability like Europe does.

no... its only a bad idea because it voids your warranty lol, but after 100k we can kiss it goodbye, so that's when the dpf is getting cored out

You said it was too stinky. I remember people giving me a hard time for wanting to remove it. I'm glad you changed your mind. Haha

What part of DFW are you in?

I'm just north of ft worth in keller, where are you at? I'll be going to northstar in sanger in the beginning of october you should come.

damn it cant see the images, Im at work but 600 lbs of torque WOW!! I know mileage has gone up since with that torque on hand it barely uses diesel fuel at high speeds and 0-60 less than 5 seconds we're looking at GTR/Skyline terretory!!

Gtr and skyline territory? Not even close.

An equally tuned 335is 0-60 is around 4.0-4.1, with a sub-12 1/4 mile. That's approaching GTR territory!

austin duh! we're talking DIESELS here, gracias for your input. This is unheard off for DIESELS, yes gasssers can achieve better numbers but DIESELS are different animals.

Hey Si-335d does the SPRINT BOOSTER works as well on your car as the gas version, my friend has it on his D also and he swears by it, Give us your insight my friend states there is minimal lag time with it!!

Hi Puerto Rican 335d

I fitted the old version Sprint booster to a Mercedes SL32 AMG. A v6 Supercharged engine with the auto box. The difference was immediately apparent and change the whole feel and characteristics of the car. Far more responsive, change downs were quicker, pulling away was crisper.

I can say it exactly the same on the 335d. Although this time I have the new version with is switchable between 3 different profiles......I keep it on the most aggressive all the time. The ony issue is you need to make sure you put the car back into "D" mode for around town as it is a bit too snatchy around town in sports mode. The only time I change the setting on the sprint booster is if I am parked on a hill, with the front pointing down and it's wet on the road. I put it in "stock" for that. To change the profiles you just pres a switch with your foot off the gas pedal.

Hope the above helps but I wouldnlt be without it in an auto car.
