Window Tint

So where is a good place to get tint done up here. Im fairly new to the area, currently live in Portsmouth, but willing to drive roughly hour or so if the place is worth it.

sanford sound in sanford maine does it. they have a guy come in from sun shades and his work is guaranteed. does a great job. Probs lke an hour from portsmouth.

I had the same question in mind, I already have the rear of my car tinted, but that was from the previous owner. They tinted over the dot matrix and I think it's messing with my radio signal and it looks like crap since it's uneven. Anyone with any experience with this before?

I tinted my car here, my tints have scratches all over them due to the wether stripping ( so take it out or get mole skin) , they also use not the greatest tint, but the price was good.

also they say its a life time warrenty but when i showed Lorenzo the huge scratches in my tint he said that he would have to charge me to remove the tint , Nope

I have heard only great things about tint king i would try them.

Lifetime warranty depends on what tint you get. It's not the installer that gives you the warranty, it's the tint manufacturer. f1 pinnacle is the way to go imo, comes with lifetime warranty.

+1 have them install mole skin felt or else you will be re-tinting your windows like once a month, unless you never roll them down. Make sure the shop uses quality felt. That cheap shit will come off in about a year or two (less time if you live in a hot climate) and you will have a nice strip of felt and glue all over your windows.

If your mole skin is damaged the tint, I don't think any tint place will warranty it.

yeah i originally Asked if i needed mole skins and he said no, ( this is when i didn't know too much about the e90 and didn't think or know that weatherstripping could damage the tint). What i wasn't happy about is that he was going to charge me $150 TO JUST REMOVE THE TINT after he said i didn't need mole skins and told me there was a warranty against scrapes and fading..

Mobile Tint Shop, look for Omar, tell him Joel sent you.
He did all my cars, very professional and job well done.

I forget what tint he uses but they make a huge difference.

I have had four of my cars tinted here. It always looks awesome and is definitely worth the drive. Takes less than an hour to get there from Portsmouth.

my radio goes in and out sometimes too and i think the cause might be what you're assuming

I had mine done at Sonny's Glass Tinting in Saugus, MA and would definitely recommend them.
