E90's wearing NS-2's...be warned!
They are ok in the dry, pretty good in fact. A bit of tiptoe in the wet though!

The 330d is a sports car with the right tyres on! Why people buy a BMW which is famed for their handling to then put rubbish cheap tyres on them is beyond me!

The amount of people I see with £1000's worth of suspension mods and budget tyres! It's madness! Something I feel strongly about! |

I had Autogrip £60 tyres on my car when I bought it as the previous owner had to fit two new tyres so he obviously fitted the cheapest ones.
They lasted a week and I now have Continental sports all round. a great tyre and recommended by me ![]() Sold the autogrip tyres to a part worn tyre dealer in Hayes for £20 each ![]()

Agree!!!....Really don't understand why people put budget tyres on a car over 150bhp...
Mid range is the lowest I would go...and that's for vreds only...wouldn't even touch other brands... If I go premium, then it would be michelins or continental... |

Never skimp on tyres pal. Wet braking, regardless of age is appalling... It's that emergency stop that will show you how bad they are.
Remapped 335i's should wear better, safer tyres. |

Tyres ! let's face it, all tyres on the UK market will have to meet certain safety & quality standards before release. Yes, there will be differences just like differences between car manufacturers. But in end, the differences are minimal, it appears they have us all making a bloody science out of bits of rubber !.

Trust me, the differences are noticeable and are not a marketing spin.. If that was the case then why dont porsche/bmw/lambo/ferrari etc fit nangkangs as standard? would save them millions a year? |

Surely with the industry you are in mate, you would have a good stance on the effect of tyres?

We rely more on aero downforce, not mechanical grip.

I had NS2's on my 335i with 400bhp+ and they were the only tyre that wouldnt make my car snake around everywhere in wet or dry. I had eagle f1 and they made my car understeer at anything above 30mph. I recon your NS2's werw part worn shit bought by the last owner as it needed tyres before sale and wanted to save a quick buck. The age has pribably affected them or maybe the width. Mine are 285/30/19.
