There's a heat shield that came with the mulf2 retrofit kit. It should be for the heat coming from rear differential based on what it's called on the items list.

Anyone knows how / where to install the heat shield ?

Heat shield should installed on the underside of the car just above the rear differential. I am not sure if the differential has to be lowered or not but there is a stub that the heat shield sits on at the center by a screw. You could try placing car on jack stands, that might allow for some space as the differential drops a lil with wheels of the ground.

Spent 2 hour on installing it ....... And managed to avoid removing the differentials, dropping the exhaust and removing the propeller shaft.

- had to take the plastic tub out from the trunk. About 8 nut on top and another 8 underneath near the exhaust heat shields.

- loosen the 2 nuts holding the rear axle up to drop the axle bar

- slide the heat shield from the trunk into the gap between the axle bar and the differential

- bolt the heat shields on

- put everything back
