leasing costs
Leasing vehicles is totally new to me. I've been doing some research on how leasing works but I dont fully understand what is due at lease signing. I plan on putting a zero to $2000 down payment. Are there other fees due at signing? What are they? Thanks

I got quoted $44605 for a 08 AW 335i Coupe with ZSP, ZCW, Comfort Access, Navigation, and the IPOD adapter. Thats $1820 off. I'm going to try to get $2500 off, you guys think its possible?

When dealing, I would recommend to agree X amount over invoice, not x amount off MSRP. For example, the offers i made to dealers was 1500 dollars above invoice (which was 2100 off MSRP). |

As far as "down payments" are concerned remember this is not a purchase agreement. Your "down payment" is actually buying down the capitalized cost of your car. Your payments will be cheaper but if you total the car you'll lose the entire amount. Look at doing multiple security deposits to reduce your money factor. You get the security deposits back at the end of the lease (or if you total your car). Do a search here on E90 and Bimmerfest.com, there is lots of leaseing information that you really, really, need to study before you commit to a lease. |
