Sneak preview of an awesome clutch component we are currently testing
“Slop” or side to side movement of the clutch pedal is eliminated.
Better feel as all flex is removed(no more plastic bushings). Short throw for quicker clutch operation and shifting. Lower pedal resting location (15mm lower). Adjustable over-center spring with 3 settings (Stock - Sport - Race). This is a must have part for sport street, track and race car. Fits all E8x, E9x and F3x. More details to come... |

Nice! I'm guessing the top one is the new one.

Would this also work like a short shifter in the sense that long arm on the other side of the pivot point would shorten the clutch pedal throw?
Never mind just read it in the explanation. Not sure how I missed it...

Pricey but only alternative really to the godawful OE pedal. Ordered, no question. And now I gotta drill it for the Ultimate pedal when it gets here next month. Thanks for bringing it to market Harold.

UCP Pedal in action
After a year of work and 5 different revisions, the all-aluminum short-throw pedal is ready for production! Here are a couple pictures of the UCP (Ultimate Clutch Pedal) in use in the SCTS 135i... To quote one of the drivers... "The quicker shifting helps keep the spool up on the turbo for faster acceleration." -Rolando Saldana (driver - SCTS BMW 135i) The pedal will be available late October. -Ralph Warren |
