Switch LCI mirrors for pre-LCI; is it worth it?

just looking for some updated opinions, ive looked through the threads on the topic and it seems most say "yes" it is worth doing but thought I would get some more feedback, does it make a dramatic enough impact in your opinion,

Have you tried sitting in a pre-lci? That would be my advice. Then you can decided for yourself if it's worth doing.

Thanks it looks like you drive a pre-lci....if you didn't swap your mirrors and still have the originals do you find find that your vision with the mirrors creates problems for you

I honestly like my mirrors the way they are, shape and size are perfect. I drove an LCI loaner a few times and the mirrors just seem needlessly big and bulky. Sure you get a taller view but I don't think it's necessary to see so much road or sky.

If I had an LCI I'd swap the mirrors in a heartbeat.

For e92 coupe?

I actually want the LCI mirror for my car, if anyone's interested for a swap. Power folding and dimming.

yes done mine from LCI to pre-LCI, love it! looks so much more aggressive.

I have a 2009 E92, and honestly, the US mirrors are a little lacking. They work great with the aspherica glass though (have to get 'em from Europe)

I agree that they are aesthetically head and shoulders above LCI mirrors.

if money is not a problem, lose those LCI side mirrors now!!!! they are bulkier and butt ugly (IN MY HONEST OPINION). They are the only thing I don't like about the LCI.

I switch mine because the LCI mirror doesn't look sporty compared to Pre-LCI.

Just purchased pre lci for my 2011 e90 so I'm in the camp that prefers the older mirrors....pics above look great imho
